What is Fine Art Photography? if we asked a room full of people what is Best? What is Beauty? What is Excellent? We might get different answers. The different answers are poured into the top of the aesthetics funnel to narrow and sift out Fine Art Photography at the bottom of what most of us notice in agreement for this genre Of Photography.
In short, Fine Art Photography should show parts within the frame to reveal a clear art form that evokes a powerful response in the critical viewer. If that doesn't happen, then it's not fine art photography. If the photography needs to explain an image as fine art, then its akin to the humorist explaining the joke; because humor has failed to reach the audience. Thus, It's not funny.
Fine Art Photography for this gallery is based on my aesthetics honed over concentrated pursuits of film, television, photography, writing and literary aesthetics based on classical and traditional criticism for form, shape, color, symmetry, light, framing, meaning, lines and language.
